Binding sender rules for posting and managing consignments on Carryn.
These Sender Rules apply to each sender and sender-side account holder who creates, funds, coordinates, confirms, or disputes a consignment through Carryn.
Truthful listings only
Senders must accurately describe the route, contents, value, weight, dimensions, recipient details, timing, and handling requirements.
Sender keeps responsibility
Posting through Carryn does not transfer ownership, customs responsibility, packaging responsibility, legality, or item risk to Carryn.
Payment and proof matter
Sender payment, approval, receipt confirmation, complaint records, and proof photos are part of the delivery record and may affect delivery completion and payout workflows.
1. Acceptance and Scope
By clicking a sender-rules checkbox, posting a consignment, requesting a carrier, approving an application, paying for a delivery, confirming receipt, or filing a complaint, you agree to these Sender Rules.
These Sender Rules supplement the Carryn Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Route Rules, and in-product instructions.
2. Listing Accuracy and Disclosure
You must provide accurate and complete information about the item, contents summary, category, estimated value, weight, dimensions, fragility, route, pickup details, delivery details, recipient details, special instructions, deadlines, and any courier-label data requested by Carryn.
You must not conceal, misdeclare, understate, relabel, split, substitute, or omit contents. The package presented to a carrier must exactly match the contents summary and listing shown in the platform.
3. Lawful Items, Packaging, and Permissions
You are solely responsible for confirming that the consignment may lawfully be sent, carried, imported, exported, couriered, delivered, received, possessed, and transferred on the selected route.
You must package and protect items appropriately for the route, courier method, carrier handling, weather, timing, and recipient handoff. Carryn does not package, inspect every item, insure, or guarantee package condition.
- Do not post prohibited, restricted, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen, fraudulent, or misdeclared items.
- Do not pressure a carrier to ignore route rules, skip inspection, hide contents, carry an item they are uncomfortable carrying, or violate any airline, courier, customs, or legal requirement.
- Obtain all permissions, prescriptions, documentation, invoices, recipient authorizations, declarations, and approvals required for the item and route.
4. Carrier Selection and Coordination
You are responsible for reviewing carrier applications, travel plans, ratings, verification signals, delivery type, quote breakdown, courier-label amount, extra fees, timing, and messages before approving a carrier.
Carrier badges, ratings, prior deliveries, route matches, or verification status are platform signals only. They do not guarantee conduct, delivery success, item condition, customs clearance, courier performance, or legal compliance.
Approximate live carrier location may be visible during active transit after intake, including background mobile location when the carrier has granted permission. It is provided for operational awareness only and is not a guarantee of exact location, custody, route, speed, arrival time, or delivery outcome.
5. Payment, Fees, Refunds, and Disputes
You must pay approved delivery amounts, courier-label amounts, and any applicable charges through the Carryn workflow unless Carryn expressly provides another method. You may not bypass the platform to avoid records, fees, safety controls, or payment protections.
Where Best Price is available, you may suggest a price to a carrier who enabled that pricing mode. Your offer is not accepted, payable, final, or binding unless the carrier accepts it through Carryn before expiration and you complete the required payment workflow.
Payment holds, release timing, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, and payout delays may depend on platform records, proof photos, receipt confirmation, complaints, courier records, payment-provider rules, fraud controls, and applicable law.
6. Receipt Confirmation and Complaints
After delivery, you must inspect the consignment promptly, upload or take required receipt proof, and accurately confirm whether everything expected arrived and whether anything extra, missing, damaged, unsafe, or inconsistent was present.
If there is a mismatch or issue, you must describe it accurately and use the complaint workflow. False, exaggerated, retaliatory, or misleading complaints may lead to account limits, payment action, or other platform action.
If you mark a delivery completed for your own account, that personal marker does not change the official delivery status, carrier payout, courier status, proof requirements, complaint rights, or Carryn platform records.
7. Sender Liability and Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume the risk of your consignment, item choice, listing statements, packaging, route selection, recipient instructions, customs disclosures, courier information, and approval decisions.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Carryn harmless from claims, losses, costs, penalties, damages, courier disputes, customs matters, user disputes, chargebacks, and legal expenses arising from your consignment, listing, contents, omissions, instructions, payment conduct, receipt conduct, or breach of these Sender Rules.
Platform Position
These Sender Rules are designed to make sender responsibility explicit before posting, approval, payment, receipt confirmation, and complaint handling. Carryn provides the platform and recordkeeping workflow; senders remain responsible for the consignment and the accuracy of sender-provided information.
